Q: How do you use the blue sponge to apply Gator Hide?

A: I use the blue sponge and store it in a plastic bowl with lid. I pour about 1/2 to 3/4" in the bowl and set the sponge in so it absorbs a little Gator Hide, then wipe the sponge bottom across the rim to get off excess and then you are ready to gently wipe it in one direction across my piece. You will have a VERY thin coat. Let it dry and repeat 2 more times. I put the sponge into the container and put the lid on and it keeps well and is always ready. I add more Gator Hide as needed. ALWAYS stir the jar of Gator Hide before pouring into the bowl. Once it's in the bowl, the sponge keeps it from separating so needs no more mixing.
